A non-refundable deposit of £100.00, together with a written letter of confirmation, is
required within 7 days of booking a function, otherwise the booking will automatically
become null-and-void. 8 weeks prior to the function, the hotel will require a further deposit
based on the number of guests attending (see below). In instances where a booking is made
less than 8 weeks prior to the function, both deposits will be due, together with a letter.

PAYMENT
The balance of an account is payable on departure; unless alternative credit terms have been
agreed Where credit terms have been agreed, the balance of the account must be settled
within 14 days; after this time the hotel reserves the right to charge interest at a rate of 2%
for each 14-day period, or part thereof, that the account remains unpaid. All account
queries must be raised within 7 days of the account being presented. If no queries have
been raised during this time the account shall be deemed to be correct.
CANCELLATION
All cancellations must be made in writing and will not be considered 'cancelled' until such
notification is received. Where possible, we strongly recommend the use of insurance to
guard against such charges. Cancellation charges are applied as follows, 30 - 14 days prior notice = 25% of
the 'estimated total' of the function, and 13 - 0 days prior notice = 50% of the 'estimated total' of the function.
LIABILITY
Whilst we have not had any reason to charge for loss/damage caused to fixtures, fittings,
equipment, or other persons, as a result of a function, it is necessary to respectfully point out
that, in the unlikely event of this occurring, the customer is responsible for the conduct of all
attending guests. Also, should the hotel experience any supply problems, where it is not
possible to consult with the customer beforehand, the right is reserved to substitute any food
or wine etc., with alternative suitable products, without prior notification.

Located just beyond our car park, the Marquee Lawn is enclosed by hedges, with borders
of mature shrubs and flowers and access to the river. Marquee functions (concluded by
6.00 p.m. ), 40-200 covers. The hotel will co-ordinate, and quote for, all the necessary
marquee arrangements, in-line with your requirements. An administrative charge
would be applied accordingly for this, depending on the size and type of function.
TERRACE/ MAIN LAWN
We are happy to serve lunch for guests on the Terrace/Main Lawn, but this is dependant
on the weather and we must always have the option of holding the function inside the hotel.
EXCLUSIVE USE OF THE HOTEL
It may be possible to book the hotel on an 'exclusive use' basis subject to your requirements.
Please contact the hotel to discuss these requirements further. The overall cost of an
'exclusive use' event varies accordingly, depending on our normal revenue trends for the time
of year, number of guest rooms required, and meals to be taken. The very nature of an
'exclusive use' event means that it is completely tailor-made.
